While many hotels management companies have been shying away from new business, our sales team has stayed on full staff and are continuing to look for opportunities. Our sales team structure has made this possible. NHG maintains a centralized sales team, along with several regional or area sales directors that know their markets like the back of their hands and can seize incoming opportunities throughout the pandemic.

Saving Strategically

While we haven’t cut people, we have constantly been on the lookout for other ways to save. To stay in business, it’s important to have controlled expenses. But those savings shouldn’t affect quality of service. NHG has ramped up energy efficiency, streamlined some services like housekeeping and breakfast service, along with cutting back on other operational expenses to minimize the exposure for owners.

Opening & Acquisitions

Throughout the pandemic, Naples Hotel Group has stayed active in openings and acquisitions. The newest additions include the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Riverview, FL and the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Clewiston, FL, which NHG won the development and management contract for. The company also acquired its first independent and historic hotel, The Terrace Hotel in Downtown Lakeland, FL featuring 88 guest rooms and corner suites, full-service restaurant, and event space. Naples Hotel Group also has two extended-stay TownePlace Suites by Marriott under construction set to open between late 2020 in Downtown Orlando and 2021 in Leesburg, FL.
