Memphis Best Winter Festivals
Even though temperatures are dropping in Memphis, the fun is heating up. The winter months are a time when Memphis comes alive. The city is home to many hot tourist spots from the historic Graceland to culturally rich locations like the Civil Rights Museum, and music hot spots like Beale Street.
There are also numerous local festivals and events that attract a crowd.
Here are some of our favorites:
Enchanted Forest Festival of Trees
November 23 - December 31, Monday through Saturday

The Pink Palace Museum is one of Memphis’ premier attractions. And in November it becomes even more of a destination when the Enchanted Forest Festival of Trees begins. The museum features exhibits and multimedia displays exploring the area’s evolution from the Spanish exploration through the Civil War to present day. The enchanted forest adds to that variety during the holidays. The display is more than a 50-year Memphis tradition and features dozens of trees, animated characters, model trains and holiday decor, the event is the perfect way to start the holiday season off right.
